Marion Gardner
Having been interested in art at school, it was to be many years before I actually tried oil painting. In the interim, I had spent four years travelling overseas in the 1960s. During which time I studied art history at Perugia in Italy.
My main subject matter revolves around fresh produce and flowers. The former probably related to my passion for cooking. I have also dabbled in family portraits and beach scenes.
At present I enjoy painting each Monday at Eileen Oswin’s art studio with a compatible group of women painters.
