Shirley Pinchen

Shirley Pinchen completed her Bachelor of Art in Fine Art in South Africa in 1987.She majored in Printmaking and minored in Drawing and Ceramics. She then married and had 3 children.
Shirley immigrated to Australia from Zimbabwe; Africa in 2001.She has lived in Kyalite NSW for 4 years and has participated in the Swan Hill Anglican, Charlton, Kerang and Mildura local exhibitions and received awards from these shows. She had also been a finalist in the Swan Hill Print and Drawing show for 2004 and 2006.

Shirley has also participated in the Breast cancer fundraiser held at Dowling house and has also worked with Arts Victoria in conjunction with a local school (Son Center Christian School) to produce an Archway for the Queen’s Baton Relay in 2005.She has developed a love of the river country in the Mallee.

Shirley Pinchen - linoprint - Through the trees

This donation is a Linoprint of the house and trees at Mascotte where she lived. It is 560mmx560mm in size and is simply entitled “Through the Trees” completed in 2006.
