Margaret Ann Wilson

Hi, my name is Margie Wilson and you may realise from my paintings that I love Australia. I am an established artist with a passion for interpreting the desert, the plains, the bushland and Australian wildlife hopefullly with an inquisitive naiveity. I have spent a life time of exploring Australia which has enabled me to enter numerous art exhibitions, winning me people's choice awards and public commissions.

For me the Mallee captures all the qualities, the expansiveness, the harshenss, the beauty and variety that Australia is so famous for and offers suggestions of what lies within the extraordinary heartland.

In my paintings I hope you will discover the story of Australia as I have experienced it. I now paint for myself "for my head and my heart and I go to nature to have my soul renewed...".
